Privacy & browser storage

Account and league information

PickGather uses account details, authentication information, league memberships, picks, standings, and payment records to provide the app. League hosts and participants can see information exposed by their league features. Do not include sensitive personal information in league names or other shared content.

Cookies and browser storage

PickGather stores its sign-in token, appearance and favorite-team preferences, active zone, and live-score preference in local storage. Session storage remembers invitation and contest navigation. These are browser-storage mechanisms, not advertising cookies. A stored acknowledgement remembers whether you dismissed the storage notice. Signing out removes the sign-in token; browser settings let you clear other stored data.

Installed app and cached files

The service worker caches application files so the installed app can load them efficiently. Cached app files are separate from your account data and do not guarantee that league features work offline. Clear this site's storage in your browser to remove caches and stored preferences; this signs you out.

Facebook Login

If you choose Continue with Facebook, PickGather receives your Facebook user ID, name, and email address from Meta. It uses them only to sign you in, create your account, or link to an existing account with the same email. PickGather does not post to Facebook or read your friends, photos, or other Facebook data. To disconnect, remove PickGather in your Facebook settings under Apps and Websites; PickGather then deletes the stored Facebook ID. Your PickGather account and league records remain until you ask the league operator to remove them.

Payments and service providers

Subscription checkout and billing management use Stripe. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy and cookie policies on its hosted pages. PickGather retains subscription identifiers and billing status to manage access. Hosting, file storage, and email delivery use service providers, including AWS in production. Servers may record request information such as IP addresses and errors for operation and troubleshooting.

Advertising and analytics

This version does not load AdSense, third-party advertising scripts, tracking pixels, or analytics. Advertising placements are disabled. Before enabling advertising, PickGather must update these disclosures and configure the required consent management. No advertising consent is being requested by the current storage notice.

Your choices

You can change appearance and live-score preferences in Settings, sign out, or clear site storage through your browser. Clearing local storage does not delete server-side account or league records. This page describes the current implementation; operator contact information, data-retention details, and applicable privacy-rights procedures must be finalized before advertising launches.
